Love this daycare, the director and staff! Both of my children are going here and they love it and want to come back every time! I totally agree with the review from Tracy from Ledyard, however cant identify with either Britneys or Lenas reviews. Find out for yourself. They are worth it!

I have been a parnet at this daycare for 6 years and I work directly with the staff and my childrens teachers daily. And not only does the Director answers all of my question that pertain to her staff. If she doesn't know tha anwser she finds it out at once. Even if I don't like the answer "I don"t know" I at least get a response"... and that is better to me me then I don't care.. She and her staff love my children and care for them on a daily basis 3 or 4 times a week. And as a Nusre and Teacher We couldn't ask for better providers.

A few years ago I worked here, very briefly (only a month) for two reasons, one, I was sick every single week I worked here, (3 weeks) first week with a cold, second week with pink eye, and third week strep, and two being that a few bothered me with the way some of the children were treated. Most of the women treated the children with respect, but there were a few who said things to the children that bothered me. I worked with the 4/5 year olds and there was one little girl in particular that gave them trouble during nap time, I believe she had an attention deficit problem (not positive), but she needed a little extra attention and there was a pregnant lady working there at the time. One day during nap time this little girl was doing her usual while all the other children slept, I went over to sit next to her and tried to settle her down. The pregnant woman walked by and tripped and turned around and said to the little girl, "If you try to trip me again, I'm going to come over there and kick you." Well I will never get that out of my head-not that, that statement would have been okay if this little girl had tried to trip her, but I was sitting right next to the little girl and she did not. Also at times when this child was throwing a fit they'd restrain her in a highchair and ignore her. After what I experienced while working here I will never send my daughter to a daycare, EVER! Also would like to add that there are no background checks performed when you are hired.

I walked into this daycare, checking it out to see if its safe and to my liking. There was no one around so i was waiting to be assisted. It bothered me that no one was around. But It looked very nice and upscale. I liked that. Then i heard a child crying. I looked through a window and saw a room with cots, for "nap time" Im guessing. When i looked to the crying little boy who looked about 5 years old it was obvious he didn't want to go to sleep, what kid does lol. He was laying on his stomach with his head up looking around crying. A younger lady went over to him put a blanket over his whole head and held his head forcefully down with her hand while she sat next to him. That waved a red flag for me! at that moment an older lady came out to me and asked "can I help you?" I grabbed my baby tight and said no thank you and left!!

I was unaware that naps were a requirement in a daycare as it seemed in this one and I was unaware that they were done forcefully. Looks can be deceiving. don't ever base your child care on looks or accommodations alone. Children's nook needs cameras. I dont trust them and I wouldn't leave my children in there care!!!
